Creating a Dulcimer Side-Bending Jig
This is a relatively short video illustrating my creation of a side-bending jig for constructing Appalachian Mountain dulcimers. I made the video to accompany the Houghton Mifflin 2nd grade Science textbook, Unit 2 — Technology and Our World. As a woodworker and dulcimer builder, I wanted to show my 2nd grade students the Design Process (as introduced in their textbook) in a real-world application.
